Welcome to the pages of Dundee Wanderers Field Hockey Club.
Notes:
Pre-season training for Men starts this coming week on Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th July at Dawson Park - but any Ladies wishing to attend will be made welcome. Your standard of fitness is not an issue - the exercises will be graded so that you can participate at an appropriate level. The training will continue each week thereafter on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meet time: 6.45pm at the Hockey Pavilion.
Although Ladies are very welcome at the above - the formal programme for them starts one week later on Tuesday 29th and Thursday 31st. Meet time and location - the same as above.
Full attendance is expected from both First Team Squads and also Men's 2nds.
Note - only those who have fully paid ALL subscriptions due to date can participate. (If you are still due to clear some Standing Order instalments, then please clear the outstanding balance and you can join in. I shall be there should anyone wish to make payments - WGB, Club Secretary.)
- Would all players make every effort to ensure that any payments due for Season 2007-8 have been completed for the end of July 2008. This particularly affects those who have late running Standing Orders. We will not consider people carrying 2007-8 payments over into next season - unless there are extenuating circumstances. (See Constitution.)
- Any members due payment for coaching
activities in Season 2007-8 please ensure that they are on the register for
payment - or submit invoices for payment ASAP.
- Please refer to our new Procedures in the "Admin
Section" which outline / clarify some of the rules / regulations -
especially for finance related matters and communication with the SHU / MHU,
etc.
- For the forthcoming season (2008 - 9)
- each player must complete and submit their registration forms with (i) full
subscription, or (ii) first instalment of their subscription by 15th September
2008.
Remember - only payment in full by 15th September entitles you to 5% discount.
- Note - no member of Dundee Wanderers should make purchases or pitch /
hall bookings in the name of the club without prior approval of the
Management Committee. (Please contact the Club President or Secretary
or Treasurer - if any such need exists.)
The Club will not accept financial liability for any such transactions: any invoices received by the club in such circumstances will be passed on to the individual for payment by that person.

Ceilidh: there is a club ceilidh being planned for September - details to follow.
